About me
My name is Sara, I'm an illustrator and 2d animator based in Milan, Italy. I studied Illustration and Animation at IED, where I graduated with honors after realizing an animated music video as thesis project.
Now I'm a freelance illustrator and animator and i teach Character Design at IED master.
What is really important to me is always trying to create a connection between my art and people: I want them to think, dream, cry and laugh while watching my creations. I mainly use primary and vibrant colours to catch the attention, also because many of my artworks are addressed to a very young public.
I love telling stories.
I call them happysad tales, because apparently it is my calling card to create a sense of nostalgia in those who read them, and I like it.
